5 Ways to De-Stone Yourself

No, you aren't dying. You're just really f*$!^ed up right now.

Have you ever dosed past the point of no return? I’m pretty sure that we all have, so don’t worry, you’re not alone.

Since it’s unlikely that you will jump for Google should you be just that far gone, we’ve put together a little guide with pointers that you will hopefully remember should that moment ever come (and it will), so be sure to bookmark this post.

If you’ve ever felt like you overdid yourself on the edibles and cannablasted your mind body and soul into the quantum realm of cannabis-induced anxiety, here’s how to manage it.

Drink orange juice

Citrus are known to be powerful anxiolytic agents countering the THC effects. Make sure you eat/drink the pulp! This is where the benefits lie.

Chew on Black pepper

If you have whole pepper kernels handy, chewing on 2 or 3 pieces should do the trick.
An interesting note on black pepper (because this really tripped us out), is that cannabis and
pepper have similar chemical traits: pepper has a “phytocannabinoid-terpenoid effect,”
which is known to help with pain, depression, addiction, and anxiety.

When the terpenoids in pepper are combined with the tetrahydrocannabinol in cannabis,
this created a synergistic chemical reaction on the cannabinoid receptors in the brain.

Take a shower (on the chilly side)

For some reason, this works. Perhaps it’s the overwhelming sensation on the skin that wakes you up and makes you feel things, other than your skeleton and a crap ton of anxiety.

Take CBD (in pill form or tincture)

CBD is proven to reduce the effects of THC when you’ve gone too far. I can attest to this since there was this one time where I ate too many edibles and felt like my entire body was vibrating – and not in a good way.

Load up on pinene

Eat pistachios or pine nuts of these contain pinene – a chemical that helps with mental clarity. Alternatively, pine needle oil also works.
